Hey everyone,

I have had a very busy few days with work and other life stuff. This evening, I went for tea at my neighbour Deborah’s. Oh, and of course her most adorable dog, Bora. It was such a lovely evening, catching up. She also cooked me such a delicious meal. She is so creative, and we were chatting for hours- so much, that we lost track of time and I literally just got home.

It is so refreshing to connect with people on a level where you have so much in common to talk about. She is actually the same age as my mom, but we are such good friends. I was admiring all her art work and creativity and how she has really put her on stamp and personality into her home. The place has a real charm and soul to it. It has actually made me feel excited now to find my new place and put my own stamp on it, although I am going to miss my current house a lot.

I am looking forward to the next few days as I am having a short break. It isn 23.29 but I have a lot to get done by tomorrow so here is me signing off. My brain is ticking in the background with the list of stuff to do…

We have almost survived the first working week of the year!
