Hey everyone,

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & Boxing Day!

In all the chaos in my heart, I managed to have a fulfilling day with my family yesterday and I have had a nice relaxing day today. It was just what I needed.

I have been thinking a lot about family and friends these last few weeks. Relationships of any kind and people and the bond you can form with someone can be so magical at times. When you think about it, you probably come across so many, hundreds of people in a week or thousands. Your worlds collide for seconds. Maybe you pass them on the street, whilst driving, in a busy shopping mall or a hospital, at a concert, in a cinema. But you never really know or meet them.

And then once in a while, you come across someone just by chance and they cement such a hold on your soul that almost feels like destiny and you can’t imagine not knowing them or having them in your life.

And those kind of bonds are magical. Ones that can not be put into words.

I hope we all find some magic in this world around us. You just have to open your heart.

Like in the words of one of my favourite authors, Roald Dahl:

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”
