Vagabond

Hey everyone,

It is a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon in Seoul today. I have been out for the day and just got back. I just love the Korean culture, and honestly being back reminds me so much of why I fell in love with this country. Since I travelled South Korea in the summer, I have been taking it easy this time around. I also booked some beauty treatments for some self-care, and I have been feeling pretty rubbish recently so it really helped. I still feel unwell, and I don’t know what this is, but I cant seem to shift this cold and cough.

I met a really nice girl at the lash studio I went to, who had actually relocated here from Spain. She was lovely and we just got talking, and it’s like we just clicked. I could relate to her life and circumstances so much. She did an amazing job with my lashes, it’s such a shame this place is so far from home!

Today is a difficult day for me, and I need to remember to slow down and be kind to myself; something i am not very good at. I honestly am so good at giving my friends and family advice- I just forget to follow it myself! I have some plans later on today with my friend which I am really looking forward to. Just going to rest till then.

I forgot to mention, the teas in Korea are out of this world. I am usually not much of fruit tea person but yesterday I had this amazing lemon jasmine grapefruit tea and today I went to this super cute café and had some lemon myrtle tea. It was so soothing for my throat, and has good immune-boosting benefits due to high levels of antioxidants and citral. The café also had a bit of an Aussie theme, which was an odd coincidence. I might actually try making some lemon myrtle tea at home.

Hope you all have a great Saturday!

With love,

Amina xo
