Hey everyone,

The last week has been so busy that I have barely had the time to actually think about what is going on. We live our lives on autopilot sometimes, that every now and then we need to step off the conveyor belt and just take a look around us. That is when we truly look at what is around us, and we either feel a sense of peace or not.

It is akin to the similar concept of looking at yourself in the mirror. We look at ourselves in the mirror daily, possible multiple times in a day. However, when do we actually look at ourselves; within ourselves? And when we do, do we like the reflection staring back at us? If the answer is no, then the answer is also within you.

You are the vehicle of your own life and destiny. Of course, there are undeniable factors that are out of our control. However, it is our choice and our choice alone how we react to the cards we have been dealt with and what we choose to do with that. I am not belittling anything anyone has been through, but unfortunately life goes on. We must pick those cards up, put them in our back pocket and move forward. Unfortunately, some people do not understand this concept and will forever blame other or their circumstances or their childhood or something else for the shape their life is in currently.

On that note, time for me to pick myself up, and start my day.
