I just thought I would come on here and share a few points. I had an interesting morning and now I am just rushing to complete my work and then hopefully will set off to meet some friends.
However, whilst driving earlier some thoughts came to mind. I got upset thinking about my late father and the last year and how it has been the most difficult year of my life. Boy, am I glad 2025 is coming to an end. So I thought it would be useful for me to share some points which I need to keep reminding myself mostly, but I hope may also be of use to someone else.
Amina’s Six Daily Self- Reminders:
1) Your brain lies to you constantly. Not everything you think about is true.
2) What you avoid controls you. Learn to live with the discomfort of fear.
3) You are not who you think you are. You are who you practice being. Over and over again.
4) Who you surround yourself with reprograms you.
5) You are wired for emotion. However you are able to regulate it. Name, hold and use your emotions for your benefit. Do not allow them to consume you.
6) You will suffer either way, so suffer for something worthwhile. Think about your purpose and renew your intentions daily.
