Hey everyone,

It is 7.46am and I am getting ready to start work. I woke up with viral symptoms and can not stop sneezing! Doctors really do make the worst patients and I have been going at full speed without taking much of a break. This week unfortunately is not much different.

I am glancing at my diary which is packed to say the least. But, I feel privileged to be able to say that. I have known worse days and this feeling is not one of them. I recall my mother saying to me as a child, that the ’empty mind is that one where the devil resides.’

This is very true in this society. We spend our spare time scrolling and thinking up problems in our head that do not exist, and that is the devil playing with our mind. It is best to stay busy and worry yourself with self-improvement or activities that actually bring joy to your soul- whether that be a hobby, walking, meeting with family and friends, or simply closing your eyes and listening to your favourite song.

I hope you are all kind to yourselves this week and I hope everyone has a good productive week.
