Hey everyone,

It is 20.02 KSA time. I am in Madinah and all set to go. My luggage is sorted and in a few hours I will be flying to Jeddah and then to London.

The last few days have been crazy busy and I am literally exhausted. I feel like I have not had a minute to myself and I feel like I need a holiday after this pilgrimage.

Unfortunately, it is going to be back to work and also university! Yes, I am starting university after 14 years to do a postgraduate diploma! I am a massive geek and I am so excited but I am also feeling anxious with all that I have to get done in the next few weeks.

It is 5th September- how?! The summer has just flown by in the blink of an eye- like it always does! I honestly can’t wrap my head around the fact it has been more than 8 months since my beloved dad’s passing. Time really is a construct created in the human mind sometimes. All the days are blurring into one for me and I seem to measure time as before my dad’s passing and after my dad’s passing now.

I hope everyone is well and hugs their loved ones a little tighter today.

Hopefully will catch up with you all soon- hopefully back on British soil!
